Covid-19 Statement
At Couston Lakes the safety of our staff and guests is our top priority, especially during these difficult times.
So how do we keep you safe whilst visiting our site?
We have implemented strict cleaning and sanitisation procedures.
All staff continue to abide by COVID guidelines regarding use of hand gels, hand washing, social distancing and sterilisation of all our units.
Face masks are worn at all times by all of the team.
Fogging machines have been introduced as part of our cleaning regime and all our cleaning team have been trained in their use.
Upon departure, each lodge is fogged to instantaneously sterlise the accommodation and neutralise any risk to all arriving guests. This includes door handles, light switches, carpets and all accessories and furnishings that are covered in fabric, beds, sofas and chairs etc.
CHECK-IN
On arrival, only one person is permitted in our reception/office area. We request only the main named booker comes into the office/reception to check in their party.
Face masks must be worn at all times in our site office and clear signage is in place as a sign of our wishes. Please respect our wishes and that of other site users and staff.
We ask all guests to acknowledge and maintain a safe social distance between other guests and staff whilst on our site.
Sadly, the Coronavirus continues to dominate our lives and whilst we take all preventative measures to ensure the safety of all our staff and guests, we understand that there may be times when a booking simply cannot go ahead. On this basis, we have relaxed a section of our terms and conditions in order to satisfy client demand.
All deposits and final balances remain non-refundable however, we are allowing for date transfers so that any or all monies paid are not lost.
COVID -19 is a pandemic which has affected us all in so many different ways, any reservations made on or after 20th July 2021 will be affected.
Restrictions can be imposed by the government at any given time, therefore please consider carefully before making any bookings. We can guarantee that any monies paid will not be lost and alternative and mutually agreeable dates will be sought for all direct bookers by contacting us on [email protected].
If you booked via an Online Travel Agent such as Booking.com it is unfortunate that we are not in a position to amend the reservation on your behalf under GDPR Regulations. Should you have booked via an online booking agent, it is crucial that you contact your agent to discuss amendments or indeed cancellations so that they can discuss these with you and us directly.
Please note that any reservations affected by the Coronavirus must be dealt with in writing and not by telephone so that a full audit trail of the reservation is held.
